If you are planning to take Amazon Prime membership, then you should subscribe for it immediately because Amazon is going to increase the prices of its subscription plan for its Prime service. Amazon has announced that Prime membership will become expensive very soon. Along with this, the increase in the prices of Amazon Prime membership will also affect the telecom companies offering free subscription to Amazon Prime.
Amazon noted in its FAQ page that "the price will increase for customers who have also joined Prime from their mobile operators". So this means that all Vodafone, Jio, Airtel prepaid plans that offer free subscription to Prime may see a hike in their prices.

Airtel recharge plans that come with Amazon Prime
Currently, Airtel offers free Amazon Prime with its Rs 131 and Rs 349 prepaid plans. The telecom operator also has postpaid plans that offer access to the Prime Video streaming app. The Rs 499, Rs 999 and Rs 1,599 postpaid plans also offer annual Amazon Prime subscription. Airtel top-tier postpaid plans offer Amazon Prime access with additional family connections.
Jio recharge plans that come with Amazon Prime
Jio offers Amazon Prime subscription with its postpaid Plus plans priced at Rs 399, Rs 599, Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1499. Apart from this, the telecom operator also offers Amazon Prime benefits with broadband plans priced at Rs 999, Rs 1,499, Rs 2,499, Rs 3,999 and Rs 8,499.
VI recharge plans that come with Amazon Prime
Vodafone Idea or VI offers access to Amazon Prime with individual and family postpaid plans of Rs 499, Rs 699, Rs 1,099 and Rs 649, Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1348. But, after increasing the official prices of Amazon price service, all telecom operators can increase the prices of their prepaid and postpaid plans.
Amazon Prime price hike
The price of Monthly Membership Plan has been increased from Rs 129 to Rs 179, Quarter Membership Plan from Rs 329 to Rs 459 and Annual Membership Plan from Rs 999 to Rs 1499. It's important to note that existing Prime members can continue their membership for as long as their subscription plan is at the current price. They will not be affected by the price hike. However, once their membership expires, they will have to pay a new price.
