Online shopping website Amazon India on Monday announced the integration of Hindi language along with other regional languages on its platform to improve the voice shopping experience of its customers. Along with this, Marathi and Bengali languages have also been added on the platform. Earlier, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada were added on the Amazon India platform.

Amazon India has said that with the advent of regional languages on our platform, Indian customers will be able to shop easily. This will improve the online shopping experience of the customers. Customers can choose the language of their choice by going to the settings of Amazon's Android, iOS mobile app and desktop versions. The company further said that customers will be able to navigate Amazon's Android app and website, search for products and add items to cart using their voice in Hindi or English.

Every month, millions of customers visit Amazon's website and app, and 90% of these customers are from Tier II cities and below.
