Motorola had initially planned to launch its new flagship phone on August 2 in China. The Lenovo-owned brand had to cancel the event for some unknown reason. A recent teaser released by the brand indicated that the company will reschedule the event to be held in China on August 11.
Today, Motorola launched an official confirmation that it will be announcing three devices, the Moto X30 Pro, Moto S30 Pro and Razer 2022 Clamshell Phone, in the domestic market on August 11 at 2PM (local time).
Moto X30 Pro specifications (expected)
The Moto X30 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will have a 60-megapixel main camera and a triple camera unit with 200-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro). It will be equipped with a 5,000mah battery and 125W fast charging. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be the new name for this device.
Moto S30 Pro specifications (expected)
The Moto S30 Pro will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display. The Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage will be included. It will have a 4,720mAh battery and support for 68.2W fast charging. The S30 Pro camera configurations are unknown. It will most likely be renamed the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.
Moto Razr 2022 specifications (expected)
A 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a 2.65-inch OLED cover display will be included with the Moto Razr 2022. It will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup of 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide). The device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 will have a 3,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It'll have up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. These devices are expected to arrive in China by the evening of August 11th.
