The Vivo Y77 5G became available in China earlier this week. It was not, however, listed on Vivo China website. It was the world first phone to use the Dimensity 930 chipset. The smartphone is now available on the company official website. According to the listing, the Y77 5G will go on sale in China next week for a starting price of 1,499 Yuan ($224).
Vivo Y77 5G: Specifications and features
The Vivo Y77 5G has a 6.64-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a fingerprint scanner on the side for added security. The device is powered by Android 12 with FunTouch OS 12 on top. It has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera on the back panel.
The Dimensity 930-powered device has LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It has a fingerprint scanner on the side for added security.
Vivo Y77 5G: Price, sale date
The Vivo Y77 5G has arrived in four configurations:
6 GB RAM + 128 GB -- 1,499 Yuan (~$224),
8 GB RAM + 128 GB -- 1,599 Yuan (~$238),
8 GB RAM + 256 GB -- 1,799 Yuan (~$268),
12 GB RAM + 256 GB -- 1,999 Yuan (~$298).
The smartphone is available in three different colours: Crystal Black, Crystal Powder (pink), and Summer Sea (blue). The smartphone will go on sale for the first time in the domestic market on July 11. It is unknown whether it will be available in markets other than the home market.
