OnePlus 10 launch rumours have resurfaced on the internet. Earlier this year, the company released the OnePlus 10 Pro as the sole flagship smartphone in the OnePlus 10 series. The OnePlus 10 was rumoured to be released in the second half of 2022. A couple of contradictory leaks have added to the confusion.

The first leak comes from tipper Yogesh Brar, who claims that the OnePlus 10 exists and will be released soon. According to Brar, the device is codenamed Project Ovaltine and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
The same chipset is also found in the current OnePlus 10 Pro. Prior to the new leak, there were rumours that the OnePlus 10 would use a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

After Brar claim, tipster Max Jambor tweeted that the Ovaltine is actually the OnePlus 10T 5G. Jambor also debunked the rumour that the Ovaltine would be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The tipster previously tweeted that the OnePlus 10T 5G will be the company flagship smartphone set to launch later this year.
The company has confirmed the release of a new smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. If Jambor is correct, the OnePlus 10T 5G could be equipped with the new Qualcomm SoC. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is also based on a 4nm process, has a slightly higher clock speed of 3.2GHz. It is claimed to provide 10% better CPU and GPU performance while also ensuring up to 30% better efficiency.

Aside from the rumoured processors, very little is known about the upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphone. At the moment, OnePlus has not confirmed any details about the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC-powered device. The company also did not reveal any information about the launch date. However, the phone is expected to be released in October 2022.
The OnePlus 10T 5G will be the series first smartphone, following the OnePlus 8T, which was released in 2020. Furthermore, if the OnePlus 10 does not launch at all, it will be the first smartphone in the OnePlus flagship number series to skip a vanilla model in favour of a T-series variant.
