Mi 12 Pro will be available in India soon, and it appears that the phone will be sold through Amazon. The company has already tweeted about the phone's impending arrival, indicating that it will be available on April 27, though the exact date has yet to be confirmed. Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India, tweeted, "Time will tell," with an image of the Mi 12 Pro. The image also included a laptop and a wall clock set to 12 o'clock, as well as a calendar with April 12 circled on it.

Mi 12 Pro will be the company big flagship for 2022, succeeding last year Mi 11 Ultra, which started at Rs 69,999. However, despite having all of the features and specifications of a flagship, the Mi 11 Ultra encountered supply issues in India. It was announced in April, at the height of Covid second wave in India, but it will not be available until July 2021. The brand eventually discontinued the phone in November 2021.
With the Xiaomi mi 12 Pro, the company will be hoping to outperform its predecessor, given that the premium segment is where it has been attempting to make a name for itself for quite some time. The Xiaomi mi 12 Pro will compete with the OnePlus 10 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Pro, Realme GT Pro 2 and other devices that use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
