Realme unveiled the Realme GT and Realme GT 2 Pro smartphones in China Last week. Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth has revealed that the Realme GT 2 series will be released in worldwide markets as well. In a recent development, the Realme GT 2 Global and Indian varieties have been discovered on the Google Play Console and Play Supported Devices List. The fact that these listings have appeared suggests that a launch is on the way.
Google Play supported device listing reveals that the global variant of the handset will be designated by the model number RMX3311, while the Indian variation will be designated by the model number RMX3312.
The handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, an octa-core CPU created on a 5nm production process, according to the Google Play console listing. The handset has a total of 12GB of RAM, according to the listing. In China, the phone comes in three different configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The GT 2 will also come equipped with Android 12 in its global version. However, there will be a Realme UI 3.0 overlay on top.
Realme GT 2: Specifications and Features
The GT 2 has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300nits. The display accommodates an optical in-display fingerprint scanner as well as a punch-hole notch.
The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC with Adreno 660 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of cameras, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and video calls.
GT 2 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It has a USB Type-C charging port as well as a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. It is available in four different colours: black, blue, paper master, and paper sens.
