Lenovo Legion Y90 Design Officially Revealed in Teaser Video

Last month, we heard that Lenovo was working on a new gaming phone, and it turns out that the company is also working on a tablet, as seen by recent teasers. The Lenovo Legion Y90 Gaming Phone and Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet will be released as part of Lenovo Legion portfolio.

The official Lenovo Legion Weibo account has released a short teaser video revealing the Legion Y50, and the video confirms that the phone will look similar to the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, which was released last year.

Lenovo Legion Y90 comes with a striking design

The phone back is shown in the video, with the camera module positioned in the centre rather than at the top. There is a dual-camera arrangement, and it appears like Lenovo is using the camera module area for other things like thermal vents. A Y-shaped RGB light, an LED flash, and the Legion trademark are also included.

The front of the Lenovo Legion Y90, on the other hand, is similar to that of most conventional smartphones, but without the notch or punch-hole. Rather, the front-facing camera appears to be contained within the top bezel. The phone's display is flat and has rounded corners.

The Lenovo Legion Y90 would include two USB-C ports, according to previous teasers. A USB-C connector will be on the phone's left edge, and another will be at the bottom, much like any other smartphone. The volume rockers are located on the left, while the SIM card slot is located on the bottom.

Nothing much is known about the hardware yet

In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Legion Y90 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. At the same time, it will sport a huge 6.92-inch Samsung E4 HDDR AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. Some sources also talk about Double Engine Air Cooling technology on the phone. However, Lenovo has not really talked much about it but it’s quite sure now that the gaming phone will hit the shelves soon.
