Samsung is preparing to launch its next-generation Galaxy S-series flagship smartphone, which is expected to arrive in February. Several leaks have revealed what the devices may contain ahead of their launch.
The top-end model in the lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is expected to be released as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Note, has reportedly been spotted on the South Korean conglomerate official website.
A support page for a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S908U has been discovered on the company official website in China. It's worth noting, however, that the device isn't labelled with a name and only has a model number.
The listing was discovered by tipster Snoopy, and it is also claimed that Samsung has begun full-scale production of the upcoming Galaxy S-series flagship phones, shipping thousands of components every day.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, also known as the S22 Note, was recently discovered on the benchmarking platform Geekbench, revealing its score as well as some key specs. The device with model number SM-S908N may be for the South Korean market, whereas the one with model number SM-908U may be for other regions.
The gadget will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Samsung's own Exynos 2200 SoC, depending on the location. According to a recent rumour, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in two variants: 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The device is expected to be available in Dark Red, Black, and White colours, however other rumours have found that the proposed Green colour option would be available. If the reports are to be believed, the series initial price will be $799.
