Realme 8 Pro gets Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 early access beta

As per the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 update timeline shared by Realme, a total of four devices are set to receive the 'Early Access' build in December 2021. Three of them have received the update in the past few days, the fourth device and the last one, the Realme 8 Pro, also gets it now.

The Realme 8 Pro is the first budget smartphone from Realme to join the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program. As per the official announcement post on the realme community, the registrations for this initiative have started from 17th December.

To enroll in the program, users must have firmware version RMX3081_11.C.09. If they are, they need to go through Settings - Software Update - Gear icon - Trial Version - Apply Now - Submit Details.

Selected applicants will receive the Realme UI 3.0 (Android 12) Early Access build via OTA. If the participants are not selected, they can try their luck in the next round of recruitment.

Users have the option to go back to the Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) stable channel if they are not satisfied with the new software. However, this process will wipe the internal storage of the phone.

At the moment, it is not known when the Realme 8 Pro will get the Realme 3.0 stable update based on Android 12.
